🤖Azure Automation
The cloud's caffeine-free intern. It never sleeps, never complains, and runs the boring chores at 3 AM so you don't have to roll out of bed for a software update.

Intune, Entra, Azure, PowerShell and Copilot agents — the plumbing that keeps a very large device estate patched, secure and quiet at 3 AM. Explained in layman's terms below.
I'm Matt Balzan — a Microsoft cloud and endpoint engineer who spends his days turning manual, repetitive IT work into automation that runs itself. Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, Azure Data Factory, PowerShell and a growing pile of Copilot agents.
Most of what I build starts the same way: someone is doing something by hand, at scale, at an unreasonable hour. I take that thing, wire it to an API, give it logging and a dashboard, and hand back the time. Reporting pipelines that used to take twelve hours now finish in under one. Compliance evidence collects itself. Nobody gets paged for a software update.
I like low-friction architecture: managed identity over secrets, infrastructure as code over click-ops, and documentation a future stranger can actually follow. And I have a healthy, well-earned fear of 3 AM alerts.

Cloud OpsThe walkie-talkie for chatting with Microsoft services. Whisper the right code into it and Intune or Entra ID politely hand over whatever you asked for — no awkward small talk required.
IntegrationDetective mode for logs. Point it at millions of records and it sniffs out the one rogue error hiding in the corner. Magnifying glass and trench coat included.
DataThe nosy fitness tracker for your IT environment. It counts every step, every wheeze, and every "why is that thing on fire?" — and it knows you skipped leg day.
MonitoringThe strict-but-fair babysitter for laptops and phones. It makes them eat their security veggies and follow the rules, even when they wander off to a coffee shop.
EndpointA digital panic room with a velvet rope. Only VIP admin accounts get in — hackers are left outside in the rain, banging on the door.
SecurityThe bouncer for your computers and accounts. It spots the troublemakers, yells "you're not on the list", and tosses attackers out before they reach the dance floor.
SecurityYour Windows desktop, teleported into the cloud. Pretend to work from a beach, a tablet, or — gasp — a Mac.
CloudA supercharged remote control for Windows and the cloud. One right button and you're a wizard; one wrong button and you're explaining things to your boss.
AutomationA robotic conveyor belt for code. It builds, tests and ships your work automatically, like a tiny factory of elves who actually show up on time.
DevOpsConnect-the-dots automation for grown-ups: if an email arrives, save the attachment to OneDrive — without writing a single sweaty line of code.
IntegrationFunction Apps are bits of code that only wake up when poked (lazy but efficient). Static Web Apps serve websites faster than you can say "stop loading".
ServerlessThe sous-chef of dashboards. It chops, cleans and seasons messy data before plating it up into reports you'd happily frame.
DataThe trusty everyday Windows machines (10/11) people love and yell at. Keeping them secure, patched and happy so users blame the printer instead.
EndpointA clicky robot army that does the repetitive busywork for you, in the cloud or on your desktop. Your mouse can retire and take up gardening.
AutomationA speed-reader with a photographic memory. It scans invoices, forms and receipts, yanks out the important bits, and never asks for a coffee break.
AIThe overachieving data buddy. It reads everything, summarises the chaos, and answers questions in plain English — the know-it-all friend, minus the smugness.
AICustom-built digital colleagues who actually read the handbook. Point one at your onboarding docs, policies or ticket queue and it answers the same question for the 400th time — cheerfully, at 2 AM, without a single passive-aggressive sigh.
AIThe cloud's moving company for data. It packs it up, hauls it across systems and tidies it into the right shape — no cardboard boxes or bribing friends with pizza required.
